Odisha Covid-19: Active cases reduce further to 43,338; Positivity Rate stands at 5.86
Bhubaneswar: June 18: Odisha recorded 3,806 fresh cases on June 17.
617 cases were reported from Khurda District, followed by Cuttack (393), Jajapur (346), Balasore (220), Puri (200), Angul (175), Mayurbhanj (159), Bhadrak (158), Kendrapara (145), Nayagarh (134), Jagatsinghpur (130), Sundergarh (119) and Rayagada (111).
Rest 17 districts reported less than 100 cases each.
Positivity Rate of June 17 stands at 5.86 and 64,850 tests have been conducted on June 17 as per H & FW Department’s information.
With 3,806 cases, Odisha’s total increased to 8,70,498 and recovered cases number reached 8,23,599.
Active caseload reduced further to 43,338.
37 people succumbed to the disease in last 24 hours and total death toll reached 3508.
